Nissan PAO ComputerThe Nissan PAO's marketing said that it's the perfect car for driving to the lake as long as the lake is not far from home. The first step in this project is to swap out the engine and suspension to enable it to make a more serviceable vehicle. Next, we started collaborating on a dashboard computer that is "intentionally inconvenient" like a prop for a clown. It runs locally on custom hardware and is developed online on an interactive website to ease collaboration with stakeholders. Since the car was never released in the US market, the interface will be all in Japanese. Features include surreal videos, selfie camera, and an online environment that is enabled when connected to wifi. Future expansion to include an OBD2 interface, navigation, and AI voice chat. |
