| Description | Video production company in my hometown. I set up their computers and they let me use their hardware after hours. | | Dates | 1990-1993 | | Comments | I will always be indebted to Seward Ryan. He started a video production company across the street from my house, and gave me free run of the place. Apart from my parents, he probably had the most significant impact on my career.
Image-Net had a few cameras, an offline Matrox edit suite, and a studio space with a lighting grid. I made a few videos and later used the equipment to render animations to tape. One day I was discovered by the director and producer of a ski film. They used 3 of my animations, and this led to a project for the Rolling Stones.
In college, I would come back to work on a project occasionally, but over time I drifted away. |
